I noticed that the article uses a very, very bad word. I hope I don't get bleeped for this.

Here is Mother Fletcher's definition of practicing:

Practicing: 1.the action of someone who has little or no faith in their inherent abilities 2. to do something that shows a complete lack of confidence 3. see 'useless waste of time" in the OED*

*-"Old English" Dictionary, now in convinient 40 oz. bottles for the seriously learning impaired hoping through the miracle of chemicals AND alcohol to stay that way.

My students at Long An University of Technology and Economics (even though the school isn't officially open, classes started the beginning of December) have this posted inside their Conversational Business English syllabus (it's from the school, not me)

Practice little, but practice often; about six times a day, six days a week.
