I had initial trouble with sending mail after updating to 10.5, but now the problem has gone away. Went away before I downloaded 10.5.1 Perhaps the problems are related, but unrelated to updates/upgrades...who knows.

I will make this comment in relation to Safari 3.0

Safari 3.0 is a ton faster in loading on 10.5 and it seems that the whole OS is faster. Surprising to me because I'm running a G5 when this OS was probably written with Intel in mind...

Oops, just upgraded two days ago. But haven't noticed any problems. (yet)
Thanks for the high sign.

I'm running a 1.42 Ghz G4 processor, and 10.5 is faster on my machine, as well.

I'll second that mail problem, I already updated, and since then have quite a bit of trouble sending mail, sometimes it is resolved by just going to the outbox and hitting send again, sometimes it is resolved by rebooting mail, and sometimes it is resolved only by restarting the computer. Never had such problems before. This is a newer Mac laptop purchased in July.

I installed this one on my school computer just after it came out. My computer has had no major problems after installing except for being a lot slower. I am running a school mac-book with the intel chipset so maybe that is part of the problem/lack of. Who knows.

Installed a few days ago, early model Intel, secondary 21inch monitor, no problems. Mostly use Opera though. No issues with mail.
