Orchestra parts for Horovitz Euphonium Concerto

Post by CrappyEuph »

Hi -

One of my students has been selected to play the Horovitz Euphonium Concerto on the Henderson State University President's Concert. Can anyone tell me where I can get orchestral parts?

Thanks!

Instead of talking to your plants, if you yelled at them would they still grow, but only to be troubled and insecure?

Yes. Not sure about the Times, though.

Jamie,

Unless I'm mistake (which could be possible) - I think that the orchestral parts are rental only. It's published by Chester/Novello, which in the US - you have to go through Schirmer to get them. Here's a link that will get you started:

Hope this helps.

Well, hey. It's not like New York Times reporters have ever been taken down a peg for not actually being at the events they're reporting on, either...

Yes, hire only (in the UK at least) when I did it with the Hounslow Symphony Orchestra, and quite expensive I was told.

It's for small chamber orchestra and catalogued under Bassoon Concerto at Novello in London.
