So, I guess that puts you in the same boat as the rest of us Joe. Glad to see I am in good, well kinda good, really, maybe not all that good but misery does love company, company.
Chuck"who realizes that things ain't what they used to be when my $35.00 Mollard baton has reaped me proportionally more money in the last 6 months than my $7K tuba"Jackson

I always wondered what the difference was between the baton I bought while in college for $10 and a $$$ one was besides the price tag. I started getting lines about balance and fatigue, yada, yada, yada.
I said "it's a friggin baton"!
It doesn't weigh anything.
Go do some manual labor and get back to me about how much of a difference a few grams makes...

but... but what about those ....c-cc--cc.... condu..... con-ductors...... that well, can't keep a beat past 4. the wind symphony conductor of a nameless college happens to not be able to beat a 5 pattern to save his life. the "percussionists" always get in trouble because they didn't come in on beat five. the conductor doesn't realize he never gave beat five.............
oh its' great.
i LOVE college.
