Yep! It's going to be a great day. Slept until 8. Watching the Rose Parade now. Gonna have my traditional corned beef & cabbage, black-eyed peas, potatoes & carrots, and gewurstrameiner around 1pm. My community band is going to rehearse tonight at 7pm and I have a 'church gig' this weekend. Life is good!

RIP: Texas Bar BQ
206 Pasteur Street
District 3
HCMC (Saigon)
Vietnam

Opened in the summer of 2004 it was the only place in Vietnam where one could get authentic American and Tex Mex cooking without paying a month's salary for a steak. The chicken fried steak (alias "country fried steak") could cure homesickness in 30 seconds.

It closed down on Tuesday, December 31, 2007.

Pardon me while I grieve.

:(

But just think- you probably kept the place open much longer than it would have been otherwise, drawing people in because an actual American ate there! :D
Instead of talking to your plants, if you yelled at them would they still grow, but only to be troubled and insecure?
