Conn 7 tuba mouthpiece
Does anyone have one of these and what is it close to in size?

I have one. It reminds me of my Miraphone TU-33, but with a Bach-style cup. I'm pretty sure it is a Conn copy of a Bach 7. What Conn instrument it was sold with is anyone's guess. Here is a mouthpiece chart: http://www.militarymusician.com/xcart/p ... ?pageid=12
Eric "has almost the whole Bach family: 7, 12, 18, 24, looking for a 25" L.

Re: Conn 7 tuba mouthpiece
I have a Bach 7. Like Eric said... it very closely resembles a Mirafone TU-33. I generally carry a Bach 7, Bach 12, Bach 18, TU-33, and a Kelly 18. Those MP's usually always cover whatever horn I decide to pack along and whatever mood I'm in. I think the Bach 12 and Kelly 18 get the most use.Tubaryan12 wrote:Does anyone have one of these and what is it close to in size?

Well, of course not -- that would make sense ...Donn wrote:I guess there's no real reason the Conn 7 should have been at all like the Conn 7b, which is a medium size Helleberg.WakinAZ wrote: I'm pretty sure it is a Conn copy of a Bach 7.
