I believe you have your shanks confused, Euro shank is the larger of the two. American shank is the smaller. But what you are looking for is a small shank mouthpiece. And I'm pretty sure that the Sidney SSH only comes in American and the larger Euro shank.

You'll need......

to investigate the Denis Wick small shank mouthpieces for this instrument. Your Helleberg is an American shank and the Euro shank is LARGER. You need the old style Eb mouthpiece with basically a bass trombone sized shank.

Hope this helps.

The Eb size you're referring to is sometimes called the Small European Shank. Dillon's carries the Wick line in these sizes.

For Eb, a very common mouthpiece, which was also standard on a Besson Eb for many years, and similar to your Helleberg that will go a great job is a Wick 3 (no letter). I've played one on an eefer, and it gives a great balance of range, both low and high, and consistency from register to register. It's also a stock item, so it doesn't need any "special order."
