Are the cases that come with Miraphone 1291 CC good quality? would they be safe to fly with?

To an extent
Alan Baer has flown with his 1291 in an MTS case a number of times without incidence. But, I would be cautious and think toward a Walt Johnson if you are going to be doing a lot of travelling.

Mine didn't come with a case. 
Oh well I got myself a Cronkhite bag instead.
