Did anyone just catch the young man from Athens, GA? His first name is Ebahn (sp?) and I'm not even going to take a stab at his last name. Some great playing from a HS Sr.! If you're on here, BRAVO!!!

I am convinced that 90% of the problems with rhythm, tone, intonation, articulation, technique, and overall prowess on the horn are related to air issues.

Ibanda Ruhumbika! Total stud... humbling to teach a young man of his talent!!

Ibanda also recently made the finals of the Marine Band Concerto Competition. He played the first movement of the Wilhelm on a 2155 in two takes. I couldn't do that if I had a gun to my head!

Keep your eye on this young man. He is something special!

I figured he was one of yours!

No matter the talent level, there has to be some pretty durned good teaching going on too. Great job to both of you!
