Is the orchestra part completely different from the band part? ... or are there simply additional string parts? I have the complete symphonic band arrangement it that will help.

Current 'stable'... Rudolf Meinl 5/4, Marzan (by Willson) euph, King 2341, Alphorn, and other strange stuff.

If memory serves me correct, there is a 1/2 step difference between the two. I believe the orchestra is in Aand the band version is in Ab.

The original is lots of fun.

Man, I loved playing those low, loud, fat notes. Good times. OTOH, Hate to be a Principal Horn player with a conductor who thinks stooooopid fast is better.

Its also fun to watch the 2nd trombone player try to decipher alto clef with ledger lines below the staff.
