Let me add my unconditional recommendation for Paul's studio and the music school at Florida State.

As a grad. assistant at FSU, you will get hands on experience in college teaching, great private lessons, relevant classes and the chance to hear a really good faculty brass 5-tet. Professor Ebbers is a powerful tuba player, an authoritative teacher, and a warm and giving human being with a great sense of humor.

Congratulations to whomever takes this gig!

If you're looking to teach private lessons and play in some really awesome ensembles, this is the graduate assistant spot you're looking for! And all that TubaBob said about Prof. Ebbers is absolutely true. This is a really sweet assistantship!
