I don't know about the price. But I played a horn almost exactly like this, and it's a GREAT sousy.

I've been watching this one too. I'd want a photo of the valves and the seller's guarantee that they still have good compression. The bell looks like it could be fixed and well as the dents. I'm not real crazy about the payment options and no returns, but the seller has lots of good feedback, so....

The price so far looks good. I probably wouldn't go more than a $1000-1200, since there is $500+ of fixin' up to do. 38Ks don't show up nearly as often as the ubiquitious 20Ks and the 14Ks.
