In looking at the pictures of what's available on the web.... I wondered about that, too. But..... actually, that .687" ID tubing is pretty strong by itself. I plan to add a rib to top and bottom of the tube to make sure it stays put. I wouldn't want to try marching with one of these things!tuben wrote:Dan,

Is the brass in the tube coming from the valve set to the bell section strong enough to support the weight of the bell?
