Anybody in Colorado? If so, are you going to CMEA in a couple weeks? I'd love to meet up with anybody that will be there, I'd even gladly buy a beer or cup of coffee :)

Well CMEA has come and gone and was a wonderful time. The President's Concert on Friday night was absolutely amazing. They had a "Brass Off" between the Boston Brass and the US Army Brass Quintet. Each played a short program then came out and played a few pieces together. The closer brought in the 101st Army National Gurad band from Colorado "to the rescue" of the Army Quintet. Tons of fun for all involved.

Sounds like that was a great concert. Those are some seriously fine ensembles.
