Another bad movie: Caveman (1981)

Post by tubasinfonian »

Does anyone know who played tuba in the 1981 film Caveman with Ringo Starr and Shelley Long?

My church choir was having a keg party (yes, we're Episcopals) with bad movies last night, and we watched Caveman. The tuba parts in that movie are HILARIOUS and I'm dying to know who played them.

Thanks guys!

Best I could find:
CAVEMAN

a. Caveman (Main Title) (Lalo Schifrin) - 10:31
b. The Kissing Plant (Lalo Schifrin) - 6:25
c. The Horn Lizard (Lalo Schifrin) - 5:21
d. Tyrannosaurus Rex (Lalo Schifrin) - 4:25
e. Homo Erectus (Lalo Schifrin) - 6:26
f. Pterodactyl (Lalo Schifrin) - 7:11
g. William Tell Overture - 3:25
h. March Of The Caveman (Lalo Schifrin) - 2:01
i. Prehistoric Dance (Lalo Schifrin) - 5:15
j. Caveman (End Title) (Lalo Schifrin) - 3:02

Issues: a-j on Aleph 032 [CD] (issued June 7, 2005).
Producer: Nick Redman. Executive Producer: Donna Schifrin
Engineer: Dick Lewsey
Notes: Jon Burlingame
Looks like it might've been recorded abroad (i.e. not here in L.A.). The engineer (Dick Lewsey) appears to work in the U.K. Listening to a couple sample clips on Amazon, maybe it was Fletch? Kinda sounds like him a bit, but without a good listen to the CD, that'd just be an educated guess.

Caveman was a GREAT movie :!:

WAS Shelley Long in the movie...?? For some reason, I only remember Barb Bach.
AKA Mrs. Ringo Starr.

She's rich, too, and they have been together 25 years!
