Hello all,
I don't know if it's already been said here, but I'd like to give a shout out to Wesley Jacobs and Dr. Jerry Young, for their new editions of the complete Bordogni solfeggi and Kopprasch 60 etudes, respectively. Just got the books last week and have been enjoying them immensely. Published by Encore Music Publishers. Very, very well done. Nice introductions in both books, and excellent individual etude commentary by Dr. Young in the Kopprasch. If you check out the website, included is a link to a clip of Randy Hawes (bass trombonist with the Detroit Symphony) playing Bordogni #1. NICE.
Thank you, Wes and Jerry, for the excellent and valuable resources. And Randy, for the ear candy.
Cheers, everyone.
Morris

These are excellent editions. If a purple dinosaur recommends them, you know they must be good. Check them out here:

Does anyone know where you could buy the piano accompaniments for the Bordogni etudes?
