Plog Concerto for Tuba and Orchestra

Post by Michael Roest »

I just picked up a copy of the Concerto for Tuba by Anthony Plog, and I have a question about a tempo marking in the 3rd movement. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know. I'd really appreciate it.

The 3rd mvt. is marked at quarter note = 104-112. Is this the correct tempo marking or is it a mistake in the edition (marked this way in the score and solo part)?

Half note = 104 seems to make more sense....also makes it much more difficult.

Thanks,
Mike

It's mismarked. The last movement should be half note=104.
