Here are two popular media hosting sites:

Photobucket is a really popular one if you plan on continuing to have a need to upload pictures and videos. I say that because you have to register for it (Free, it is) and that wouldn't be too efficient for just one use.

ImageShack is a good place to upload media without registering. Make sure you chose not to resize it and you chose to remove the size/resolution bar. After that, click "Host it". To post it on this forum, you can use either of the first two links as they already have the IMG tags.

IMG tags look like this:

Kurt,

1. Sign up for a free account at a photo hosting site like www.photobucket.com

2. Upload the pictures from your PC to that online site. Pictures will be stored on their server and then accessible anywhere on the web.

3. After the upload is complete, view the photo you wish to post here. Right-click on the picture and then select Properties. Copy the Address (URL).

4. On this forum, Write in your post the following:

[img].....paste%20the%20URL%20address%20here.....[/img]

([img]and[/img] can be manually typed or inserted using the buttons at the top of the compose/reply window)

5. THEN, before you SUBMIT your post, be sure to PREVIEW it first. You should see the image. If not, double check your code.

* http://photobucket.com works well and has a one-click link to copy a link for forums and messageboards so you don't have to do the Properties>copy the link thing outlined in the above. You just have to paste the link you just copied into your message.

Kurt, here are your pics. They are low resolution, as received, you can copy each link into a new post in the forum of your choice (use quote function to expose code). Probably should not have blabbed on about the how to thing, my fault thread was moved.

Apart from the well-delivered lesson, Wade, don't forget about the one-click copy of the link out of Photobucket - just click on the URL in the IMG Code field after you upload your pic, then you can just paste that big long string into your Tubenet message - no typing. Magic....
