Ex-manufacturing engineer/tool engineer/machinist/special machine designer, builder, & programmer. Ten years as a music repair hobbyist. Semi-retired now and working in my one-man shop as a music instrument repairman. Oh yeah... and a life-long tuba player. Life is good!

I am a chef. I work in the wonderful world of corporate food service, at the Hasbro Games plant (used to be Milton Bradley). Not quite as glamorous as restaurant work, but I am home with my family quite a bit more.

Tool and Die Maker. Includes design and CNC programming as well as machining/building. I work for a small but growing aluminum fabrication plant. I will have M.M. in Tuba performance in Dec. and will then look for the next career, hopefully doctoral studies and a college teaching gig.

Does C-24 run under MPR or APM or someone else. We used it overnights at KCNV until the management cut all the on-air folks a couple of years back. Now they use it 24/7. More or less the "Top 20" classical stuff and way too much guitar, but I guess it was cheaper than local talent. Gotta love a General Manager who swoons over Willie Nelson (I like the guy, too) but couldn't pronounce Beethoven if you spotted him 2-3 consonants.Minnesota Public Radio and American Public Media.

Enough about you - what about me?
Phd mathematician - formerly taught college math and computer science for 18 years. Wised up, took some Actuarial exams in the 80's, figured out how PC's work and have been designing, developing and coding Actuarial analysis, Management information and Administrative systems for Insurance and Reinsurance firms since 1985. Presently employed with a small reinsurance consulting firm since 1994. Although I'm 67 now they won't let me retire because I wrote almost all of their systems, some of which are being used by our clients (insurance firms) and I have no replacement trained.

Upper level tech support for a major accounting/tax software company (OK, the most major one). I'm the guy the Indian reps are consulting with when they can't figure out your question/issue, and you are on hold for 20 minutes. hehe. Not my dream job, but not too stressful, good benefits, mostly good people and keeps me in beer and tubas.
