Brass 5tet arrangement of Sing Sing Sing
Does anyone know of or have a brass quintet arrangement of Sing Sing Sing (Louis Prima) that I can buy?
Always make a good sound; audiences will forget if you miss a note but making a good sound will get you the next job.

The Boston Brass plays one. Try them at bostonbrass@bostonbrass.net
I am fortunate to have a great job that feeds my family well, but music feeds my soul.

Sing Sing Sing
Thanks to Toobist for calling for an arrangement; it is a great tune. There is a Cherry Poppin' Daddies arrangement of some old Prima swing tunes they did in the 90's teenie bopper swing revival that has some similar stuff and I hope to get an arrangement of Sing Sing Sing via Pierre's post. I was aware of the Boston Brass' playing the tune, too but their website does not offer it for sale.
Thanks, again

Re: Sing Sing Sing
If you like their arrangement give 'em a shout... can't hurt. I got the 2nd Terpsichore suite from Allan Dean of Empire last year like that. Heard it, liked it, bought it from him. The active quintets have always been good in helping me find obscure stuff.bill wrote:I was aware of the Boston Brass' playing the tune, too but their website does not offer it for sale.
