It was a great day for me. I helped the local symphony with a children's program and then did a few brilliant things in the shop.... followed by a three hour gig at the German Club. Downed a couple of shots of Jagermeister. Life is good!

I packed, and packed, and packed some more. Then I moved some of my stuff. The very last of it goes to the new apartment in the morning, and I will be without internet until Monday....

Just another typical work day for me. 4 hours round trip of driving with 4 1/2 hours of actual work. I got in 45 minutes of practiceing my horn at home before I was intterupted by having to make a run to the grocery store ( typical. I can't get any respect !! ). By the time I got home from the store I had to go pick up my daughter from the skating ring. Then time to got to bed !

I had a 6-hour "Rehearse-a-thon" with at school. It was pretty awesome. My director brought in some really awesome people to work with us (And I found out that the low brass man plays with my private teacher).

Why is it always the tuba playing conductors that tell the ensemble's tubas to make everyone deaf?

Sounds like it! Pretty ordinary day for me. I figure as long as I can walk on the daisies I'm doing just fine.
