Hello TubeNetters! Demondrae Thurman will be at TCU, Fort Worth on March 17th and 18th. I am posting a press release here. If you are in the mood for a couple of days of GREAT euphonium music and Euph info, please come by. There will also be a small display of Miraphone euphoniums, including Demondrae's new model, the Ambassador Elite 5050.

DEMONDRAE THURMAN TCU RECITAL!

Post by David Spies »

Having known Demondrae and Richard for many years, I think this is a fantastic opportunity for all in the Metroplex and surrounding area.

I think Brian Bowman's students should consider making the trek.

I've heard a MIDI file of the Barbara York Euphonium piece, and it is FANTASTIC!! (Check Cimarron Music Press for availability).

BTW: Be sure to check out the Willson Tuba Quartet at the upcoming 2008 ITEC in Cincinnati. We're premiering several works in conjunction with BVD/Cimarron Music Presses.

What kind of a place is this PepsiCo Rectal Hall, Richard. I might want to attend, but I'm just a bit leary about what might be required to attend.

This is my first time back on TubeNet since this impressive recital. Wow! Can he play?! I also got to meet "richland tuba 01," as well as a number of other fine young folks at TCU. Thanks, Richard, for bringing this outstanding performer, and fine young man, to Texas.

As it turned out, the performance was in a recital hall. What a relief!
