PS: I think I'm going to buy some windows for my house. The ones to be replaced are the original casement style, leak like sieves, and I can hold a conversation with someone standing outside, in a normal tone of voice. I have to wear ear plugs to sleep. It would be nice to sleep with only the windows shut and not my ear canals plugged. I love the birdies but not when they tweet at 5 a.m.
Did you know Gambel's quail are so insistent on beating the competition that they will spend hour upon hour pecking at a window that has their reflection in it? They talk to the reflection too, just like parakeets. Unfortunately I am on the other side of that reflection, and I'm not all that interested in what they have to say.

I should be receiving one of these way cool TOP HANDLE chainsaws in the next day or two. These things are soooo handy to manage when you are trying one-hand a chainsaw while on a ladder. I tried one recently and OH YEAH! I got to get me one of these!

If you don't have at least 50 mouthpieces, then you need to get busy and start working on the collection.
You can contact Steve Kennedy at Kennedy optics about making you a mirror for one of these.

WWBW is just about giving away VMI 3301.
So many possibilities.

You'll have to find these on sale. But it is a great item for a gift.

What should I do with it?
In the past, I would have said Atlantic City. Now, I say sound investment of some sort. You could buy a good vintage baseball rookie card or two or three, and watch your investment soar in five years. A 1951 Bowman Mickey Mantle depending on the condition of it could be bought for that now, and your investment may yield 3 to five times that in five years. I unfortunately have been studying this as of late, result of dwindling gigs here in B-more.

Trust me - you won't ever regret spending the dough on new windows!MaryAnn wrote:PS: I think I'm going to buy some windows for my house. You also might want to get one of these. It would work with any decor, especially in a formal dining room.

I also am in the market for new windows for my 1978 3-2 brick house.
I had to delay my window purchase for two years after hurricane Ivan because a new roof suddenly became necessary and most contractors were super busy repairing storm damage.
Contractors are now offering sale prices on new windows again.
I want the white vinyl, top-o-the-line windows that have double panes and pop out to wash.
