Hello all,
At 7:30 pm, Thursday, March 27th, The US Army Band, "Pershing's Own," is presenting a concert. The concert will be performed by members of the Ceremonial Band.
Included on the program is a new work by SFC Neal Corwell. Falls the Shadow is a new work for tuba-euphonium quartet and band. It was premiered at our tuba-euphonium conference this past February with The US Army Orchestra. Neal has re-scored the orchestra parts for band--this will be the premier performance with band. The members of The US Army Ceremonial Band Tuba Quartet are SFC Neal Corwell, SSG Dean Miller, euphoniums, and SSG Charles Giannelli, SSG Tim Royster, tubas.
This concert is unique for the band as it incorporates a new interactive website, with live website voting/interaction, as well as cell phone text message interaction and ringtones.
The interactive website will go live 30 minutes prior to the show (7pm). Here is the link:

I THINK that website will include a live stream of the concert. However, if I am wrong (known to happen!), please try our usual live broadcast link here:

I was not able to listen to the concert online, but would be interested in hearing how the online/text message interaction was carried out and how it was received by the public. I haven't heard of this being done in the past and am a bit intrigued.
