Bill Barber's King CC Tuba?

Post by hbcrandy »

Does anyone know what happened to Bill Barber's King CC tuba? After his unfortunate passing, I was wondering if it was for sale?

I could be wrong, but I know in the late 70's, Bill had his tuba stolen from his car after a gig when he went into a burger place. I don't know if it was the King. I hadn't seen him play in years, but I believe he told me he was using some rotary CC in his later years.

the Sanders Piggy models were made by Cerveny, at least until somewhat recently.
