Last fall I had the honor and pleasure of performing with two of the Coast Guard Band's finest musicians (Andy Sherwood on clarinet and Ian Frenkel on piano) at the regional tuba-euphonium conference, organized by Adam Crowe. It was recorded, and I just received a copy. This is improvised stuff, unrehearsed. Our opening number, "When We Danced at the Mardi Gras". Here it is:
