Mr. P!

Post by tubasinfonian »

I had the fine privilege of meeting Daniel Perantoni earlier this week, and I'd just like to say how classy this man is!!

You run into so many musicians who are less than charming or in some cases, jerks, but Mr. P was so willing to answer every question as honestly as possible and was just a real positive motivator. His knowledge and experience in the world of music is that of only a few individuals in our entire tuba community.

To any of you here who may be his students, send him another "Hello!" from Marshall University!

I have worked with Dan and seen him in action in countless situations. He invariably shows a wonderful attitude with students/fans of all ages and backgrounds and always tries to answer their questions. And he gives GOOD answers! He's a remarkable tuba ambassador and has had a hand in designing and improving many instruments. Nice hats, too.
