Studying across the pond

So I'll be finishing up my Junior year soon, and that means I'll be graduating in no time! so I'm beginning preparations to furthe my education. I'll be receiving a B.M. in Performance and would like to seek a M.M.

While I'll be applying to schools in the US, I'd also like to look at what, if any, options exist in Europe. Any thoughts on this? and European Tubenetters, (and US ones in the know) where should one begin a search for graduate education in Tuba performance in the EU?

Royal Academy of Music in London doesn't offer graduate performance degrees. Royal College of Music does, so does Royal Northern College of Music, pretty sure.

well, in austria, germany, sweden are great tuba players and teachers...

Personally i can recommend Vienna (Professor Schafferer, university of music and Vienna Symphony orchestra and Professor Paul Halwax, Vienna Conservatory and Vienna Philharmonic), Linz (Professor BrandstÃ¶tter, Mnozil Brass) and from hearsay Professor Jens BjÃ¶rn Larsen (University Hannover) and Professor Michael Lind (Stockholm)

Have you considered studying with Steve Rosse in Sydney? He was a finalist for Philadelphia and has former students playing all round the world.....

You should also consider David Cribb, who plays in Leipzig Gewandhaus. A great player and teacher.

Jens-Bjorn Larsen is an amazing player and a great pedagogue. If youÂ´re thinking of studying in Europe, Hannover would be a good option.

Well, David is indeed a great player and a very nice person. Heard that he has gotten the job of tuba professor in Berlin....
