Too early?

Post by Brassdad »

Well, went on line and got tickets to the halftime show for TBDBITL. I understand that there may be football played also.

Last year my son and I went for our first game ever in "The Shoe". WOW! What a time. The folks with us in the stands were great. No drunks, no obnoxious fans, everyone into having fun and enjoying the day.
And that was even though it was the Buckeye game against Illinois and was their first loss of the season.

We will be attending the Sept 6 game between Ohio State and Ohio University. We are really hoping that the Marching 110 is allowed to come up and participate. What a great time that would be. 2 of the best college bands going (in two different styles) and a Buckeye win.

Last year we were too late getting in and missed the skull session. That won't happen this time either.

We'll be sitting in section 23A (second level up between the 20 & 30 yard line). Very close to where the I will be dotted.

O..H..
New Breed, Old Breed! It doesn't matter so long as it's the Marine Breed!

IO...

No its not too soon. One of my co-workers commented that people who follow sports often have better health. It may be because they have something to look forward to on a daily basis and not dwell in the past.

I love football - not just for the thrill of seeing people the size of busses crash into each other, but also for the certainty that my team will never, never, ever write me and tell me to quit cheering for them.
There's always next year and a chance for glory.
