Bloke,
What kind of mouthpiece do you play? Can you recommend a good euphonium mouthpiece for the high range? What college should I go to? Which tuba brand is the best? Rotary valves vs. piston valves- which are better, and what professional players are playing them. Should I be playing a heavy wall mouthpiece? Is blue juice better than hetman oil? What is the best euphonium gig bag?

Bloke,
I think that your complaint is trivial. It sounds like whining to me. Waaaaaa Waaaaaa.
Surely someone has suffered tragedy somewhere and you're complaining about the profundity of Tubenet topics.
This reminds me of that Mojo workin' guy complaining about military tubists taking civilian gigs over there in DC. How trivial.

When did travel distance enter the picture?fwiw, I've commuted to Europe to play multiple-week strings of gigs
Thanks for the link. I'd like to see Memphis sometime. I don't know about under that particular circumstance, though.
Maybe I'll call them up and see if they've got some good lookin' 'hood ho's' in the video. I might change my mind.

BBb or CC for college? Is a Mira 186CC a good enough horn for me to be taken seriously? Are M&M horns any good? Should I take all the lacquer off my horn so I sound better? Do I need to buy an F horn now- I'm a senior in HS but don't want to fall behind.mceuph wrote:Bloke,

BTW: I think all the beer girls are lovely but the third girl is preferable because she is drinking with greater gusto.

That may well be true. And, yes, I understand your point, however, the picture doesn't necessarily display how attractive she really is. Of course, I must further indicate that I have only casually looked at the picture. Perhaps I spent 1-2 seconds in actually making such assessments. The Big Ben wrote: BTW: I think all the beer girls are lovely but the third girl is preferable because she is drinking with greater gusto.

There's more than one girl in that picture? Oh yeah, there are two other ones, um other girls...The Big Ben wrote:BTW: I think all the beer girls are lovely but the third girl is preferable because she is drinking with greater gusto.
