The winds of change

Post by Jason Arnold »

Maybe in the new tubenet format users can vote to ban other users? I can think of one person (I am trying really hard to stay p.c. here) that I would definately vote off the island.
The temptation to quit will be greatest just before you succeed.
Regarding hard work; get tired. Good things happen on the other side of tired.

Wind of Change. Great song by the Scorpions. Hit #4 in the billboard hot 100 in 1991.

I appreciate the different viewpoints as it makes me examine my own. And those who have seen my posts for any length of time have seen some of those points of view moderated or even outrightly changed as a result, as growth of perspective should be over time.

The problem is civility, or rather the lack thereof. Everyone should have a short course in the fine art of disagreeing in classical parliamentary style so that all the viewpoints can be expressed and discussed.

This is not "political correctness" in the watered-down sense it has come to be, it's just basic respect for another person, combined with openness to new ideas.

They do; it's just that "parliamentary" has been misspelled paramilitary ;)

I read Sean's post and looked through my email for one with a link to click but couldn't find any. Did I misread the post?

Thanks.
