There you go 'CC guys'. Have your local tech build you a main tuning slide that's two feet longer and maybe a some longer slides for the #1, 3, #4 slides and you've got yourself a souzie to take to the ball park on weekends!
OR....
Scrap the souzie body and use the valve section to build a nice spiffy Eb upright tuba.
As far as the idea of you Eb guys keeping up with the BBb boys below the Bb below the staff... forget it. That fourth valve on these things is pretty useless down there.

I've played few Sousas worth a da%$, but The King Ebs (the later generation) were sublime. I heard Bell recorded with one. I still feel like an idiot for selling mine!
