Hi,
while wasteing time on ebay, I came across this listing ( http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... %26fvi%3D1) for what looks from the pictures to be an older Miraphone 186. The seller says there are no markings on it. Could it be one with maybe a replaced bell (which would take away the logo & serial no.)?
I'm not interested in purchasing, mostly just curious.
is this a 186 or a copy?

Nope. Certainly not a Mirafone. Totally wrong harness and thumbring backplates. Not a VMI or B & S, either. It's probably a pre-70's Cerveny/Amati stencil. Stay away!

Thanks for all the responses everyone!
as I said, I've no interest in it. Curious how similar somethings look....
and in a shop, where one could play test it.....might be worth checking out.
