Thanks for the info. I thought I felt Owen Slade's playing, as well as heard it. Dave Stewart is a beast as well. If no one has seen this yet, go. Its phenomenal soundtrack, and film.

Tuba and cimbasso was played by Owen Slade. Dave Stewart played bass trombone. The score was recorded at Air Studios in London.

Is it within the realm of the possible that this place could have an incomplete listing or one where doubling is not noted? First off, only string principals are listed. If there was only one of each then why are the brass players not isted as principals as well? Remember, you used an Internet site to refute Internet information!

Also, on the list of players there is no mention of Richard Edwards (trombone), Kate More (trumpet), Andrew Crowly (trumpet) or Roger Argente (bass trombone), who were a few more of the brass section playing on the recording sessions.

I found out at IMDB. Just looked up Dark Knight and found a list of complete cast and crew.

I've gotten out of the habit of looking at IMDB for details of the soundtrack, because it was never there. Very cool that they listed most, if not all, for The Dark Night. Thank you WB!

What am I missing? I'm looking at the imdb.com list right now, and I still only see Peter Davies listed on trombone and no cimbasso credit..Dave Stewart is nowhere to be found. No Richard Edwards, Kate More, Andrew Crowly, or Roger Argente, either.

Imdb.com shows the same list of players as hans-zimmer.com does. You would think the composer would show all the players on the session if he goes to the trouble of listing some...weird.
