You certainly have chosen someone who was both important and influential when it comes to our instrument. I have yet to hear anyone say anything but positive things about him. In most cases, the positives involve the use of superlatives. I only wish I could have met him. Maybe even studied with him, as some here did.

Oh, my! Not another one of those kind of comments. Haven't we heard one of those enough, already.

I think his idea is a good one, too. I'm not trying to argue that point, at all.

I like this idea. since I don't really know jack about notable, important, or 'famous' tuba artists.
