US Miraphone dealers

Post by sailn2ba »

Read recent remarks about WWBW and Music123. I have been building funds to buy a Miraphone 1291 5VB. . .have missed a couple of used ones, but the end result could be a new one. . . someday. Most places don't stock the 5-valve. Is there another dealer I should be monitoring?

I have had nothing but positive experiences with Dillon. I am sure there are other dealers that may be close to where you are located.

Sailn2ba,
PM me regarding a used 1291 BBb here on Long Island. The owner bought it, but hardly used it due to health problems.

I recently scoped out US Miraphone dealers and chose Ferguson Music, http://www.hornguys.com" target="_blank who are in La Crescenta, California. Steve Ferguson within two days of my initial email request for information gave me clear answers and fair factors on costs, availability, modification and shipping charges. Some other dealers either never even replied to my inquiry or posted a much higher cost. I am more than pleased with Steve's business procedures and with My new 5 valve Norwegian Star which replaces my initial Eb, a Dalyan Zeus, which by the way has been an adequate horn for the past year and a half and would fit quite well with its hard case in a new tuba player's home (advertisement).
