Orks-type Oompah music recommendation?

Post by tokuno »

I like to pull together "whoever shows up" groups to play in different venues.

I've got Dixieland and Danceband Combo-Orks and 4-part/all-instrument Christmas tunes, and full coverage/all-comers independence Day music, but I don't have any German Beer Hall-style oompah band music.

Does anyone have a recommendation for arrangements of 4- or 5-part collections of Oompah tunes in mix-and-match type instrumentation similar to combo-orks?

Danke, sehr!

I remember Mork and Mindy. What a great show. And I know Mork was from the planet Ork... but for the life of my I can't remember their music.

belwin , hal leonard etc used to publish march sized folios, but I don't know if amything is in print now. 6-way scoring is fun and easy...
