Well, this thread has demonstrated how easy it is to tell the difference between self-parody and true venom.
I only hope others see that difference, too, or they'll make foes out of some of the most entertaining writers we have, and perpetuate the dull existence which they seem to want.

Re: Tubenet Foes???
I think 'Tuba Foes' is rather a contradiction of terms. We all know that tuba players are the salt of the earth and in my experience mostly nice people. Although some are rather eccentric and talk drivel (maybe including me sometimes?
), it is mostly well meant drivel. One can always just pass by any posts which do not interest, or are nonsense. Once threads start to get silly, I tend to just unsubscribe and ignore!

I think tuba players are people. People are people. Some are quite honest and ethical and some simply aren't.Neptune wrote:I think 'Tuba Foes' is rather a contradiction of terms. What does the TubeNet Friends feature actually do? The foes feature hides posts from foes. The friends feature does what??

I believe the Friends feature gives you text message alerts on your Friend's food, practice time, bowel movements, etc..
