Since it appears your "code" is character based instead of term based, your "code" is probably more correctly defined as a "cipher."

Ok, it's a cipher. Whatever.

I learned this type of cipher (?) when my mother (rest in peace) was going blind and was sending me emails via touch-typing. One or both of her hands would get "off" by a key, up, down, or sideways, there would be a paragraph or so of gibberish, and I had fun figuring out what she had actually written. What I would do to "crack" it would be to touch-type exactly what she had written, with my own hand or hands off a key, and eventually I'd find the key to what she said.

Not that hard really, but you would have to have a clue. I think many unbroken codes and/or ciphers are like this....if you know where it came from, it's easy, and if you don't, it's impossible.
