Since we are not to get political on TubeNet(a difficult topic to completely avoid), I will comment that it is too bad that most of the USA doesn't stay on top of things as well as Bloke does.
I remember reading about these a year ago. Side by side, electric, gyroscopically controlled "motorcycle." The inventor is a Canadian kid just out of high school. His prototype only went 15mph, but he said 40mph is doable with some refinements. Suppsoedly, an 8 year old kid rode it at an auto show with NO problems at all. You lean forward to go faster, side to side to turn, and back to slow down. The only control is the on-off switch/key/whatever....
I want one!!

How about one of these?

Silly! You don't ride IN one, you ride ON it!
Instead of talking to your plants, if you yelled at them would they still grow, but only to be troubled and insecure?

One problem for someone like myself who is not vertically challenged. Because it is considered a motorcycle in my neck of the woods you would have to wear a helmet even though your inside the darn thing. A lady in lincoln has something like it and has to wear it.

We've got a firm locally that has been putting out three-wheeled "Gizmos" for about 5 or 6 years now. They are licensed as a motorcycle, but you don't need a motorcycle endorsement or a helmet to operate one. I did investigate a Gizmo-type vs. log truck crash two weeks ago. Gizmo lost. Driver lived. Didn't even scrape the log truck.
I became friends with the tuba player with the Ho Chi Minh City Ballet Symphony Orchestra (which performs in Hanoi as the Hanoi National Symphony with the same personnel) wondering how, in a country where literally everyone rides a motorcycle to work, how he takes tuba to work. It's simple. He has identical Yamaha CC tubas at the Opera House in Saigon, Philharmonic Hall in Hanoi, and his home in Ho Chi Minh City. He said when I rode around town with one of my antiques on a motorcycle, I looked silly.

Yeah, but what does he play when he does beer hall gigs?

My next door neighbor and his wife both commute 30 miles to work in opposite directions. They recently got two dinkies to drive for that purpose. Had to keep the Expedition because they have 4 kids and can't go anywhere as a family without taking both dinkies. If my calculations are correct they are spending an extra $5000 per year to save $2000 per year on gas.
I am fortunate to have a great job that feeds my family well, but music feeds my soul.
