Hi Everyone!

Please consider attending Western Michigan University's tubaFEST Feb 7, 2009, Dalton Recital Hall. Admission is $15. Bring your tuba or euphonium and perform in the mass ensemble!

Guest euphoniumist Marc Dickman will present a master class during the day and conclude with a 5pm recital. He'll perform Brilliant Fantasy by Arban and Bizet's Flower Song along with several jazz selections featuring a WMU jazz trio.

The events for the day are:

12:30 registration
1:00 WMU student recital
2:00 master class with Marc Dickman
3:30 mass ensemble rehearsal
4:15 break (food provided)
5:00 recital featuring the WMU tuba euphonium ensemble, the mass ensemble and guest Marc Dickman

Wish I could be there (German band gig in G.R. conflicts) -- sounds like fun! Hope it goes well. Will either (or both) of the recitals be recorded?

See you on the 28th in Okemos (or before?). :D
