Hello All:
I'm currently teaching at a University in Thailand, and while I was out on the town I managed to check out one of the local music stores. I was surprised to see that they actually had euphoniums in stock. The only name I found on the horns is "Symphonic". There is no model number or any other marking. I was wondering if anyone out there has heard of this brand. It' s incredibly hard to find any other brand besides Yamaha and the markup is incredible. The University here just bought a Yamaha YBB-641 for $10K but its the going rate here. This instrument is selling for about $900; I know you get what you paid for, but one of my kids is playing on an 30year old baritone.
Any info would be great. Thanks.

Can't imagine Besson having anything to do with it. A friend of mine has one, but I haven't seen him since he bought it, so I can't give any comments about how it plays.
