Miraphone Thumb Ring

Post by tubaribonephone »

Does anybody know where I can buy a thumb ring for a Miraphone 186? I broke mine off when I went to pick it up the other day...

Thanks!

I guess you learned that the thumbring is not a handle! You can order one from any repair shop that has an Allied Catalog.

Roger is the better source, but for future reference, Badger State Repair (aka Ed Strege) carries Miraphone parts.

But that's the way that I've always carried it around!

It actually broke off when I to play a low C... Pushed all 4 valves down, rocked it out and then SNAP! I had a new peice of jewelry on my thumb
