Again about Jabba The Hutt

Post by Pozzie »

In old threads, many tubenetters uploaded pictures of the famous Jubba solo part, but now they are no more available...
I read that on this webpage http://moviebrass.com/intro/Bonus_stuff ... page2.html it was possible to download the part, but now I can't open the page's images.
Where is possible to find it? :tuba:

Instead of talking to your plants, if you yelled at them would they still grow, but only to be troubled and insecure?

Believe it or not, I played this for my six-year old grandson, and he recognized it. Needless to say, he is really into Star Wars.

This is the transcription from what session? What cd has this exact solo (there are various versions)?

This is the same as what Tommy Johnson regularly gave out at his clinics. Noting that it wasn't he who played it for the movie...

Same manuscript, same everything.

It's not that fast. On the Phillips CD Out of This World, Chester Schmitz played it at around a quarter = 72 or a hair faster. That was a Boston Pops recording conducted by John Williams.

I don't think the music was in the original edit of Return of the Jedi, but it was part of the score. I do recall hearing snippets of it in the Director's Cut remastered version that came out a few years ago.
