UNT DMA Euphonium Chamber Recital

Hello everyone, just wanted to invite everyone to a recital I will be giving at the University of North Texas.

Saturday April 11th at 3:30pm in the UNT Recital Hall

The program will be a little different and include:

Parallel Recollections by Paul David Thomas-this is a new piece written for me that features euphonium and tape accompaniment. It requires multiphonics and playing the euphonium like a didgeridoo.

Apres un reve (After a dream) by Faure-euphonium and harp

Wind Sketches by Brian Balmages-quartet with percussion featuring Hiram Diaz, euphonium, Ryan Robinson and Alex Costantino, tubas, and Akiko Goto, percussion

Ave Maria by Franz Biebl, arr. by Mark Jenkins-two tubas and five euphs featuring Jeremy McBride, Hiram Diaz, Tony Carlson, Mai Kokubo, euphoniums, and Ryan Robinson and Alex Costantino, tubas

The second half will be all latin jazz.

Excursion by Mike Tomaro-solo euph and rhythm section

Latintensity by Hank Levy, arr. by Ryan McGeorge-tuba-euph quartet and rhythm section

Gypsy Earrings by Ardeshir Fahan, arr. by Ryan McGeorge-euph duet with rhythm section
