So Thanksgiving weekend I took my '81 Seca 550 to the shop to have the gas tank painted and decaled to its origianl look. due to a series of unfortunate events I will not go into now, i just got the bike back, but i wil say she is purrty:
Finally got a nice day yesterday, with temps in the low 60s and the sun shining bright to get her out on the road.
ken "yes she is 28 years old!' k not sure why the right side of the pic got cut off. Perhaps it is too large? I do have a full front tire honest!

She runs very well. Since she has carberators she can be a little persnickity to start but once she is up and running she runs without at hickup, and 55 hp is plenty for this old timer. I don't need no stinkin' crotch rocket. When you wind her out to 10,000 rpm you had better be holding on!
