A lot of parks in warmer climates offer the same "benefits". Out at WDW, the parades would get mobbed on weekends. The Xmas parades usually didn't offer the scenery, unless it was warm enough (could happen). Parades in the "Spring" (FL: Spring = Summer), offered a general anatomy lesson of the spectators for parade participants.
