Midwest Clinic in Chicago, Dec. 14-19

Our community band, San Jose Wind Symphony, was just invited to perform at the MidWest Clinic. I know it is several months away, but I need to start planning. I'm not a music educator, so my main question is what there is of interest to low brass during the clinic (besides the concerts by Eastman Wind Ensemble, Chicago Brass and other outstanding groups). Looking at the last years schedules of events, I did not see much in the way of seminars, clinics, etc. targeted at brass.

I'm also interested in things to do/see in Chicago, with a low brass connection of some kind.
