Tuba/Euphonium Stands
Anybody know anything about the Jupiter TE70 Euphonium/Tuba Stand? Giardinelli is selling it for about $55. The only thing else which I've seen are German made K&M stands which comes in a single use Tuba and Baritone/Tenorhorn/Euphonium variety, I've seen various retailers selling for about twice that. Is it more of a euphonium stand or a tuba stand. Looking at my horns its difficult to see how one stand could fit both. My rotary baritone needs a home. Thanks.

tuba stand
I have a Mirafone rotary euph. & I have a piece of silicon rubber about the size of a large hockey puck. I use that on my right leg to prevent the bow protector from cutting off the circulation, while supporting the horn.
It works well & does not tie my playing position to a stand.
Hope this helps.

I use the K&M Tuba Stand for Musica CC tuba and love it. I normally leave the Tuba in it's stand in the Practice room (my wife instists that it's the Living room). The Tuba kind of doubles as a fine work of art that way.
I also take the stand with me to practices and performances. At 43" long with at 16.5" bell I find the Musica too bottom heavy to stand on the bell.

I bought one of these Jupiter stands and it fits up to a Miraphone 191 but nothing wider. But that covers quite a few horn models. It will easily adjust down to hold euphoniums as well. It seems strong enough for moderate use. I use it to store my second horn in the corner of the room.
