The part about "8 Gigs" is going to turn his head, I bet.

They're just trimming the grassy knoll.

Don't tell me you haven't heard of the second mower theory!?
Instead of talking to your plants, if you yelled at them would they still grow, but only to be troubled and insecure?

I have a more important question: How can I get them to show up at MY house?

I'm nearing the end of 3 solid weeks of Giselle - only 3 shows to go!!!
Tonight and tomorrow afternoon and night, then I might be able to become sane again (or at least a little closer to it)

It's a great paradox that some of the best music ever composed was written for ballet, yet so often it is a profoundly non-musical experience. We are very lucky to have a very good conductor for this season (Myron Romanul) but usually ballet conductors are chosen for non-musical reasons, and often choreographers arrange things to whatever count they have in their head - whether it relates to the music or not.

Giselle ranks right up with (down with?) Minkus' "Don Quixote Variations" as some of the most trite and meaningless music imaginable - and it has the extra "distinction" of having a long viola solo near the end. What else could you ask for......

Nevertheless, the light is showing at the end of the tunnel :D

Cheers,

My new tuba has been shipped, but I don't know if the gigbag got shipped. And I am currently buying one of those Silver-colored King (used and cheap) cases, because I heard that they can accommodate the tuba I am buying.

Hello all,

I'm now registered under my signature of tundratubist, I need the alerts to go a my personal e-mail address, to many were showing up at the work place. What a great place to laugh, learn, waste time, discover new things you don't really need, but surely must have, did I say laugh out loud even when you're alone. Gosh, I love this place.

You've been updated form the North Coast. Oh Yeh, Spring is here, and the ground is thawing out.
